Corrimal Probus Club Extended Tours

Blue Mountains.
What a fantastic First trip away for some 18 of our Members.
The weather was great, the food great, the scenery excellent underpinned by a great camaraderie amongst the travel group. Over the 2 days as the weather moved from sunny with cloud, mountain mist and light rain too bright and sunny we visited the following.
Wentworth Falls, Jamison Valley
Everglades Historic House and Gardens, Leura
Echo Point and the Three Sisters, Katoomba
Scenic World, Katoomba
Hydro Majestic Pavilion, Medlow Bath
Govetts Leap, Blackheath – but to name a few.
Our tour group enjoyed excellent social interaction over dinner each night complimented by a few wines to assist with the discussion and of course what happened on the trip will stay on the trip.

Hunter Valley Gardens.
Our Second trip with Some 8 Club Members and Friends we visited the 3 million Lights and Exhibitions on display at the Hunter Valley Gardens, travelling with Stuarts Coaches from Nowra.
Joining with others from Stuarts Travel Club we all enjoyed a great time travelling via Wollombi and staying overnight in excellent accommodation in Cessnock. The trip included a visit to the gardens at night to see the lights plus a return visit the next morning for a private train ride through the gardens.

River Postman
For our Third trip some 19 Members of our Club travelled to the Central Coast, staying overnight at the Gosford RSL Clubs – Galaxy Motel. During the trip North we visited the Mt Penang Gardens, the Henry Kendall Cottage and Museum, along with the Gosford Chocolate Factory.
The next morning, we joined the River Postman at Brooklyn, on the Hawkesbury River, for an enjoyable 3-hour cruise, taking in the magnificent scenery of the lower Hawkesbury River. Returning to Wollongong in the afternoon. All members had a great time enjoying good company and plenty of laughs.

Mudgee Escape
A great 4 days / 3 nights was enjoyed by the 22 members who made the journey.
We spent 3 nights at the luxury “Parklands Resort” in Mudgee.
Sunny weather and amazing Autumn coloured trees made for some beautiful scenery and photographs during our stay.
Interesting visits were made to local attractions around the Mudgee area including the highlight of the trip, I think most would agree, our gourmet BBQ lunch, wine tasting and guided coach tour of the amazing 5800-acre property “Goree Park” one of the country’s leading thoroughbred horse breeding grounds.
